Total control with Rombo-III. This multi-use-case IoT device is able to monitor most of the cases you can think of. Measuring the conditions of a battery, broken cables, digital and analogue signals, temperature, humidity and light intensity. Besides just reading information, Rombo is also able to switch his 2 onboard relays.

Even though a lot of use cases can be covered with the onboard equipment, sometimes more specific monitoring is needed. Therefore Rombo has the possibility to connect I2C or Current Loop sensors to create an unlimited amount of possibilities.

The DIN Rail mounting enclosure makes it very easy to install it in every industrial environment you want and the internal battery ensures that Rombo-III is able to send alarms even when there isn’t fixed electricity.

Use Case example - Battery Monitoring:

In areas where construction and maintenance takes place, warning signs with proper lighting is required to inform passing traffic. It’s important the lights remain visible though this is not always the case due to defect cables, broken light bulbs or empty batteries.

Rombo can measure the current to check if the bulb still works and the battery’s voltage to get informed once it’s almost depleted.

This does not only make sure that important activities don’t get interrupted, but also provide 24/7 control over the things which are important.
