TRICOR Family is a high performance 20.1" Panel PC. The Rugged Solution can be equipped with an Intel Atom, up to 9th Gen i7, or Xeon processor board, combined with a wide temperature 20.1" screen.
The integrated embedded CPU board (engineered and produced by MPL in Switzerland) comes with a conductive cooling system and therefore does not require an internal fan. MPL engineers are taking special care to select only the best components with the lowest power consumption. The final result is an increased MTBF so that the TRICOR20 can be used for years to come without any problems. The TCO (total cost of ownership) is maximally reduced.
The screen has a brightness of up to 800 cd/m² and excellent optical specifications. The touch screen can easily be operated by hand or with an optional integrated pen.
The system is designed with a military grade, high strength, and lightweight housing (SWaP-C). The enclosure meets IP54 all around. Its modular and flexible architecture allows the system easily to be configured with nearly any options (GPS, 1553, WLAN, LTE...). Additional function keys for faster operation of the system can be implemented. Details such as the pressure valve or the possibility of an additional input voltage module underline the premium demand.
The interface plugs (e.g. 38999) can be made available on any sides, depending customer requirements. The system can be to be installed in a cabinet or VESA mounted and has an extended temperature range from -10°C up to +55°C. In the current solution, the customer gets access to Audio and DVI behind a sealed flap. The direct accessible interfaces on 38999 connector are in this case USB, LAN and serial lines. Other configurations and interfaces are easy possible.
All MPL products are designed for long-term availability and the TRICOR20 Family will be available for at least 10 years. MPL's own component stock guarantees repairs. The system meets or even exceeds typical standards like MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275
