Ethernet media converter 1x RJ45 and 1x SFP opposite side

The MPL TX2FX-12 is an Ethernet media converter that translates transmission signals from a twisted pair twisted pair 10/100 / 1000Base-TX cable to a 100Base-FX or 1000Base-X fiber optic cable. This industrial media converter from our Swiss partner MPL extends the copper wire signal to 10 km, through the use of a single-mode fiber optic cable. Any Small Form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver module can be used for the fiber optic port. MPL supplies SFP-1X, SFP-2X and SFP-3X with a variety of transmitter and receiver types, allowing users to use the suitable SFP modules for their IT projects. The MPL TX2FX-12 also offers automatic detection and initialization of the applied SFP module and has diagnostic LEDs for continuous status reporting regarding network speed, traffic and fiber optic port status.
